NO-Q CASE STUDY
ROLE
I was the Lead researcher and designer in this project. After researching and communicating with different types of users, I designed this app keeping the user’s opinions and interests in mind.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
Due to intense traffic, most people are unable to reach their work on time. This causes a variety of problems that can affect people’s daily lives. This is when NO-Q comes in. It shows the user the route with the least traffic to their destination.
APPROACH
After thorough research of the places with dense traffic and after finding out the rush hour in different places, I came up with an idea; to create an app with an easy-to-use interface that shows the shortest route, with the least traffic to a specific destination.
PROCESS
After the idea has been formed, I created low-fidelity wireframes, making sure to place images and text in the right positions so the application will be easy-to-use for all user types.
Secondly, the choosing colors and fonts. Selecting the perfect colors and fonts is very important when designing an app. it can either make or break an app, that’s why I put extra effort into choosing the best complementary colors and the perfect font type and size.
The next step is the high-fidelity design; which is the second to last process. This is the final design before the testing.

In conclusion, the design process is:
Research > empathise > ideate > design > test
After careful and thorough research and testing, keeping the user’s interest in mind, I came up with the best interface for the traffic application using clean illustrations, clear typography, and colors, which resulted in positive feedback from the users.
RESULTS
WHAT' I’D DO DIFFERENTLY NEXT TIME
More Features: Even though this app is designed to show the shortest route to the user’s destination, I would like to add more features such as sharing location, or sending custom messages.
Planning time: Although planning and designing this app did not take much time, I would have preferred to have completed it sooner. Going forward, I would not let my own overthinking stop me from making decisions.
